Scandiflex have worked with health and sports nutrition specialist Natural Fitness Limited of Hemel Hempstead to develop new packaging for their count line Buzz Bar range. The Buzz Bar is sold at sports centres and gyms nationwide as an ideal snack to re-fuel the body for up to three hours before and during exercise (and is absolutely delicious too, as we discovered!). The range includes a variety of delicious flavours, though all are oat-based.

Natural Fitness were happy with their basic design for the flow-wrap packaging, but wanted something to give the designs a 'lift', something to add appeal when potential buyers were deciding what they would choose for their sports nutritional boost.

Scandiflex suggested a move from a surface printed film to a printed laminate, making use of the natural shine of the film to create a sparkling effect. The previous packs looked dull and lacklustre, now they call out to the hungry sports fan or exercise enthusiast, 'Buy ME!'
